AHW 513

We are introducing the new AHW 513 jointer machine for the first time in spring 2024.
The machine features a planing width of 500 mm. The cutting depth adjustment (up to 8 mm) is electrically controlled and self-locking. A LED display indicates the cutting depth. A switchable hour meter is included as standard. The machine is equipped with long jointer tables with a total length of 3,000 mm.
Both the infeed and outfeed tables are 1,500 mm long, which provides optimal support and guidance for long workpieces. The cast iron tables are longitudinally ground and ribbed. This creates the so-called air-cushion principle, preventing the workpiece from sticking and allowing for smoother material feed. The heavy-duty steel frame, manufactured in one piece with the side panels, ensures excellent vibration damping and smooth running.
The machine base features a foot recess for improved operator clearance, allowing an ergonomic working position.
The control panel is positioned for easy operator access. The fence guidance system runs on special ball-bearing rollers, is low-friction and maintenance-free. Fence adjustment is done via single-hand operation. An auxiliary fence for thin workpieces is integrated, as well as a scale for measuring workpiece thickness.
